The OG
Our original Mat class blends rhythmic, full-body movement with pops of cardio and sculpting, grounded somatic principles and purposeful music. Accessible, cathartic, and built for connection.
Mat Sculpt
A strength-forward mat class using props like bands, weights, and blocks to build stability, endurance, and functional power. Intentional, challenging, and rooted in rhythm and control.
Mat Restore
A slower, restorative practice centered on deep stretch, gentle mobility, and breath-led movement. Designed to support recovery, nervous system regulation, and a true exhale.

While we still tap into the core-strengthening foundations you’d find in other mat or pilates studios in Charleston, our focus is on cathartic release and intuitive flow rather than rigid repetition. You can expect a thoughtfully curated atmosphere, a beat-driven playlist, and a sequence designed to help you "drop in" to your body. You’ll sweat, you’ll shake, and you’ll leave feeling physically rejuvenated and mentally clear. Our mat classes at The Drop In use a signature hybrid approach to sculpt and strength training to help achieve results without burnout. We move away from heavy machinery often found at other Charleston gyms and strength training facilities and instead focus on low impact work—using your own body weight, high repetitions, and resistance-based movements to build lean muscle and functional stability.
