move with us

The Drop In’s Founders Gillian and Chandler are known for their community-based, energetic teaching styles and for classes that are as cathartic as they are physical.

They offer regular mat- and cycle-based classes in Charleston, where you have the chance to experience their transformative combinations of movement and music multiple times a week.

How we move

  • A woman with medium-length hair looking upward with her eyes closed, her face slightly tilted back, and one hand raised in front of her face, in a black and white photo.

    MAT

These sessions allow you to experience the power of cathartic movement, purposeful music, and a physical push in a community-based, deeply connected practice. The mat class is built to counterbalance the push on a bike in a way that is accessible for all levels.

Expect a bit of plyometrics, repetitious movement, pops of cardio to elevate your heart rate, and a little bit of sculpt work—always set to music meant to get you moving.

  • Close-up of a person riding a stationary exercise bike in grayscale. The focus is on the person's sliding feet wearing athletic shoes, pedaling on the bike.

    CYCLE

A purposeful blend of handcrafted playlists, movement, and messaging—our rhythm-based cycling classes are intentionally crafted to be both physical and joyful. This full-body workout combines sprints, hills, choreography, core work, and upper body.

Our bikes are SPD and Delta cleat compatible and we offer shoes to rent. If you rent shoes from The Drop In they will be equipped with Delta cleats.
